Christmas Vacation

We were lucky to go to Island Park this year after Christmas because we didn't get to go up for Thanksgiving and get a Christmas Tree.  The only think that Blake wanted to do was sled and he did that every day. Island Park didn't have as much snow as last year but it was plenty for us. The boys went sledding every day and they made a snow fort out front at the cabin.  I even went running the days that we were there.  It was so nice getting out and doing something each day.  The weather was great for running.

Haedon also had his birthday when we were in Island Park. He turned 8 years old and I can't believe it. Haedon keeps us always on our toes, even know when he is much older.  I remember when he was a baby and he was into everything (things have not changed much). Ever though it crazy something with him I would trade him for anything, he has a tender heart. Somethings that makes Haedon special in our family is:
1. He is willing to try anything when it's food (he is the best eater)
2. Loves junk food
3. Loves to be outside
4. He is a great hugger
5. He is going to be my night owl
6. Has great timples
7. Loves to laugh
8. Has big muscles from laughing
9. He can eat as much as Blake or more
10. Loves to play with his friends

 We came home on his birthday so when we were eating dinner he had him close his eyes and we gave hime his presents. The Boom Boom Balloon is a pretty funny game to play.
