Twin Lakes Campout

 For Memorial Weekend we decide to go camping somewhere we haven't been.  Donnie found Twin Lakes down be Preston and we thought we would check it out.  The funny thing is that my mom said that we'd camp there when we were kids, so I guess I'd been there but I didn't remember much.  We left on Friday and came home Sunday, so that we could have a day to relax before life get busy again. Isn't it funny when you feel like you need a vacation from your vacation. 
The weather was great and the kids had tons of fun fishing.  Donnie, Nash, and Blake caught a fish and it would have been two more but they got away, one even broke Donnie's line. Nash was so excited when he got his fish, he keep telling me that I was the proudest mom in the world.  Which I was because he was so cute.  I did make Donnie run over to get it off the hook because I wasn't going to touch the fish. Haedon thought the big juicy worms were disgusting, I did too when I had to put it on the hook.  That was not one of my favorite moments. We still have a lot to learn when it comes to fishing.  One thing is that we need to get a canoe so that we can got out where the big fish are. The weekend was a great success and I think this will start another tradition for us. The view from our campsite was wonderful, we were able to get a spot right be the water.
