When my boys turn 8 years old my mom makes them a quilt. It is so cool because she is so amazing and she tries to make it special for each of them. Blake's was a camo quilt and for Carter she made one with shapes because he loves to draw and it totally goes with his personality. She writes them a letter about the quilt and it is really neat to see them talk about what the quilt is for and what it represents (the Holy Ghost). Thanks mom.
Haedon got the camera that night and was having fun taking pictures of everyone. The only thing that stopped him was that the battery when dead.

What a fun birthday party below and your mom is AWESOME. That is the neatest idea I have ever heard for an 8th birthday. I'm going to do that with my grandkids. To late for me now that mine are all past 8. lol Nice pic of your parents.
My mom is going to die when she sees my dad's tummy hanging out. LOL
Great pic of your parents. Tummys hanging out is part of the fun as we age, unless you are Katie's mom. She looks GREAT!
You and your family are so blessed to have such a great person acting as grandma. I wish I could be that good. I just watch movies with them and feed them.
