Pumpkin Harvest

Today we went out to Shoemakers Farm and got our pumpkins. We plant pumpkins in the garden every year but they don't seem to do very well. Thank goodness we live in Blackfoot where there has to be somewhere we can get some. A few years ago we found Shoemakers and it is great. We get to go and pick our own pumpkins. The only rule is that the kids have to be able to pick it up and take it to the car. This year the pumpkins where a little better and bigger because we went sooner. I don't know what we'll do when the boys can get the really big ones. The beginning of October is the best time to go.

All the boys before the hunt for pumpkins began.

Dad picking corn. We picked 30 ears for $1.50 so if anyone want corn got to Shoemaker's Farm. Great price.

Blake being a goof. I feel bad because I never get pictures of him very well because he gets so far from me. THis is the only one I got today. I need to get his picture first before anyone else.

Nash didn't want to hold the pumpkin because he didn't want to mud to get on him. I doesn't care any other time.

Carter holding his pumpkin.

Haedon with his pumpkin and he did take it to the car.
