Haedon turned the big 10 this year. He waits all year long to have his birthday. Because he is the last in our family to have a birthday he sometimes is hard for him.  It probably doesn't help that it is right after Christmas so everyone is still getting over that.  This year we took him to Texas Roadhouse, I thought it was pretty fun.  Grandpa and Grandma Lindsay were able to come with us.  It ended up that that night was kids night so they had someone doing balloons and face painting.  We didn't get their faces painted but Haedon got a pretty cool hat. I love spending time with our boys and being able to go out and have some fun. Here are something that make Haedon special:
1. He has a great laugh
2. He is a great helper with little kids
3. He still has those two cute dipples
4. He loves his family
5. Is working really hard on scouts
6. Loves to give hugs
7. He is starting to enjoy reading
8. He is very caring
9. Loves Mind Craft (what kid doesn't)
10. Loves to be outside
Haedon is a great kid and has a big heart.  Happy Birthday Haedon, love you tons.

This year we decided to start off the year with going sledding with the Jones Family. We went out to Firth were there is a huge snow hill that everyone sleds down. It was cold but I think everyone had a lot of fun.  There are a lot of people there and the snow was packed down pretty good so you could go pretty far and pretty fast.

Grandma Witt is in the hospital and we decided to send her a picture of the boys. I don't know if she even gets what we send her but we sure do love her and hope everything is going okay.  She was diagnosed with cancer and is in the hospital in Boise. We did end up going up there so the boys could see her. They have her doing different kinds of physical therapy throughout the day so we can only see her a little bit.  We also want to make sure that she is getting the rest she needs.

It is also ski season and we decided to get passes to Kelly's Ski Resort outside of Idaho Falls. We thought that we would try something new this year and see if we like it. They have a lot of ski trails that you can take and I think the boys are liking it a lot.  Blake is trying out snowboarding and Haedon wants to do the same.  So far the season and been great and there is a lot of snow.
