Carter's Lessons
Do you remember when you would have to practice your piano after school and you hated it. Maybe you didn't but I did. I remember bounding on the piano, crying and screaming sometimes until my 30 minutes where up. Well, after all that time and having four boys I wanted someone to be able to play. I started with Blake but it didn't last very long, he really didn't have any interested in it. But Carter did and I started teaching him about a month ago and we're still hanging in there. I have to remember those times when I would practice as a kid crying and screaming that I hated to remember what Carter sometimes goes through. I try to encourage him instead of getting mad at him. He has picked it up really fast and I'm really excited for him. I hope that he will always want to play and I hope that we can go far together.

Katie! I didn't know you taught piano! I used to play when I was little and want to get back into it. If you ever decide to teach piano outside of your immediate family let me know!
I love his cute face when he turns and looks at you when he's done. Tell him for me that I thought his song was great! You are such a good little mommy!
He is such a darling little musician! I love watching how he nods as he counts - that's what I used to do when I was learning! And watching his hands...he has the "piano touch"- good job both of you! Love you to pieces!
