The first day of school was great around our house. The boys couldn't wait to get back, I'm sure they were sick of me and wanted to be around their friends. Blake was telling Carter all morning how everything went and that he needed to really eat his breakfast fast, not to scarf it but to eat it really fast. I was proud of Blake and how he helped Carter that morning. Blake is in 4th Grade this year and Carter is in 1st. I know that each of them will do great.
Blake was peeking over the fence.
We have one more student in our house now. Donnie started back to ISU this week and that has been quite the experience. I know that everything will be okay in the long run it is just hard to see that right now. I definitely feel like a single mother. He is going to school each day and then working when he can. I'm so glad that his job is working with him. I'm busy doing my day care and I can say that I am full. I have up to 12 children during the day and that keeps me on my toes. But when 5:30 comes I am so ready for the day to be over. Needless to say, Blake as football each night and we just keep running. Those are the days that I tell myself that it will get better (okay I say that every day).
